I have been posting about ‘Talents’ (HIPO) and their attributes on my Instagram page, so I thought to share here with anybody also wondering “what are the attributes of a Top Talent?”
There are quite a lot but I will share five (5) that sits on top on my list…
- Mindset: You already know this will be my no 1.. It’s all that Matters. You need to acknowledge and recognize that you are too valuable in your mind before you can exhibit it.
- Competency: hehehehe, you cannot say you are a talent if you don’t know your 1+1 😬😬 You have got to know your onions and master those skills.
- Attitude: This one is EVERYTHING and more. no matter what you know, you have got to blend it with a good dose of the right attitude.
- Collaborate: Yes, we know you can do it all alone, you are a STAR but you have got to let your colleagues in on your projects, support them on theirs and work as a team.
- Humility: This is not letting people use you as a doormat (No way). This is you knowing that you know your STUFF but you will not stand at the office hallway and shout about your skills . There are plenty other ways to do that. 😬😬
